Eleusinian Sacrament

(lyrics by Grey Cat)
Starlight bleeds the soul tide
Seeding currents within abysmal woods of time
Upon opulent shrine
the sacred relics of transmutation lie
Hierophant's staff held high!
Ferments the firmament
Undoing
Becoming
Inverted reflection
Sleeping where dark matter lies.
Crystallized, Infinity-eyed
Oracle womb
Persephone’s tomb
Celestial dissonance
Machine wings of Icarus
Shadows shift across corroded figures
on Parthenon’s horizon.
Flowers bloom in the cracks of shattered monuments.
A new symbol emerges from the liquid flames
of the cyclopean dawn.

(lyrics by Dan Aguilar)
Bask in the glow of your last warm desert sunset.
Rest your soul by the campfire and savor this while it lasts.
For the night is cold and long,
and come daybreak you head out alone.
Go toward the ancient path, follow the footsteps of the titans.
Granite steps rise from the earth and wind ever skyward.
While your legs burn, tired hands grasp at your feet.
The longer you walk this road,
the more filth clings to your boots.
Even great stones, born from the earth in ages past,
are ground to sand beneath the weight of their years.
The longer you stand and fight,
the more you crumble away.
Glazed eyes look toward heavens abandoned,
from this peak gaze back down upon them.
One day your deeds may be forgotten
But the view from here is worth the price.

Red Giant

(lyrics by Dan Aguilar)
Cold, empty,
barren lands
A timeless giant slumbers
A distant spark flickering
An ancient form rises
Mighty steps plunge into the seas
leaving verdant splendor in the wake
Radiance embraces the earth as
our golden hero strides across the sky
With these blessings our people thrive
But we are gluttons, and so is our god.
We honor him in bold extravagance
Yet retreat away to our feeble strongholds.
Inferno smothers the earth as our
crimson tyrant marches across the sky
The mountains burn and the seas die
The winds tear down our monuments to him
A god destined to rule over
ruined temples and dead worlds
Swollen and alone his flesh tears apart
The remnants of the kingdom drown in his blood.
Cold, empty
His organs spread across the void
Silent
A frozen corpse drifts through the night.
Rise, and feast upon the remains.
